Biography

Dr Atallah is the Heart and Vascular Institute pharmacotherapy specialist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He is a clinical associate professor at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic he was on faculty as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is the chair of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Cardiology Practice and Research Network (PRN) International Committee.
Dr. Atallah received his PharmD from Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy in Virginia and completed an ASHP accredited post graduate residency at Winchester Medical Center in Virginia. Dr. Atallah is board certified in pharmacotherapy with added qualifications in Cardiology. He also holds an advanced antithrombotic management certificate from the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Dr Atallah is the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA) fellow and Middle East Ambassador. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology. He also serves on the Health Authority Abu Dhabi (HAAD) subject matter experts (SME) pharmacology committee and the Emirates Heart Failure Conference Scientific Committee. He has several publications and presentations at national and international conferences.
In his current role at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr Atallah established the first per protocol physician-pharmacotherapy specialist heart failure collaborative practice agreement clinic in the Middle-East Gulf region.
